Gyn confirmed cystocele & rectocele w/ symptoms. estrogen cream prescribed for 1 month then recheck. how likely is surgery?

It depends on stage: If the two "celes" are second or third degree then surgery is likely. Which surgery should I have done 1st and why? Surgery in spine to replace disk at l5-s1(bone on bone now) or surgery to correct cystocele & rectocele.

Depends: Neither is an emergency, so which you have done really depends on which one bothers you more. I don't believe either surgery will affect the other procedure in any negative way, but you should discuss with both your spine and general surgeon. ...Read more

Can a cystocele and rectocele repair help tighten up vagina?

Pelvic Prolapse: It sounds like you have pelvic organ prolapse. It is not an emergency as long as your not having pain. If you have had a hysterectomy you may have a enterocele as well as a rectocele and cystocele. You will need a thorough physical examination and I would recommend urodynamic evaluation and a cystoscopy. It can be repaired but at your young age will require surgery. ...Read more
