Maybe genetic: Probably should have genetic consult. Forinstance Chiari malformation, fibromuscular dysplasia, and thyroid cancer can be associated with neurofibromatosis. Lung nodules are non specific and can be from some infections but also metastatic disease sometimes from papillary thyroid cancer. You may want to consult a geneticist physician. ...Read more

No: Two completely different diseases. CF is an inherited disorder leading to failure to clear mucus and repeated infections. It does end up with fibrosis in the lungs. Pregnancy 15 week, ultrasound report.,.. Turner syndrome with cystic hygroma and hydrops fetalis....., your advise required?
Your decision: in the end. These findings in the first trimester usually carry a poor outlook for survival of the baby but there have been many reports of resolution of both cystic hygroma and hydrops as pregnancy progresses. Turner syndrome will always be there. I cannot decide for you but suggest you consider re-evaluating by ultrasound in 3-4 weeks should you decide to continue the pregnancy, you will then know more about the prognosis for the baby and any associated problems such as congenital heart defect etc. see:http://www.turnersyndrome.org/#!child/c4ff ...Read more
CF is recessive: Cystic fibrosis is a disorder passed thru the genes of both parents, silent in the carrier parent & expressed in the affected kid who has inherited an affected gene from both parents.One mutation(delta 509) is the most common but others occur and variations in intensity do occur.
