Cyst On Arm
It depends: It really depends on the type and location of the cyst. If it is in the skin, a dermatologist will likely be able to help. Some cysts are deeper down and will require a surgeon, or an orthopedic surgeon to address. Many cysts in children are benign and if not causing a problem, it might not even need to be removed. Start off with a consult with your pediatrician or family doctor.

Hard to say!: When did this start? New deodorant, detergent or soap, etc.? if so, stop them. Use unscented products for sensitive skin. No harsh scrubbing. Wash new clothes before wearing them. If anything of these things may apply, then stopping the offending product should help things calm down. If not, get seen by a doc who can sort if out or refer you to the appropriate specialist.
Diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa today. I only have 1 tiny cyst under arm. No others ever. What are some labs/test to prove or disprove this?
Cyst under arm and pilonidal cyst, swollen glands everywhere, rash on wrist, weight loss, and dizziness and general feeling unwell. What could this be?
Cyst in arm pit for the 4th time. 3rd one was surgically removed so was the 2nd one. Doctor gave me antibiotics and doesn't want to do anything else.
Well: See if the antibiotic work first. If it does you are fine if not then you will return to doctor and have the cyst opened and drained
Varies: Several factors will affect the price. The size and location of the cyst can increase complexity. If it is able to be performed safely in an office setting it can be done much cheaper than if it requires a surgery center and anesthesia.

My son had a cyst undet his arm and he compressed it with warm to hot pressure, n it just popped n he gushed out blood, what does that indicate?
Abscess: What is sounds like he had was an abscess, which is a confined cavity filled with infected material, blood and pus. A warm compress often helps it come to a head and drain, after which it will likely heal. If it does not, see your doctor. Try not to squeeze these things; instead of rupturing outward, as your son's did, they can rupture inward, thus inadvertently spreading infection.

Ganglion: These are ganglion cysts, usually caused by repetitive flexing of the joint. Generally benign; however, if painful should be seen by orthopedics.
Specific: Is the mass on the arm between the shoulder and elbow? Is it getting bigger and over how long a time? Does it pulsate? Does it move with the shoulder or elbow? Does it "tingle" when you thump it? These are things to think about when you see you see an orthopedic surgeon. He can decide what to do for you.

I have a small cyst under my arm, after a ultrasound the Dr said it was as calcified sebaceous cyst and that I shouldn't worry. What does this mean?
Sebaceous cyst: Arises from a clogged sebaceous gland (secretes an oily material that lubricates hair and skin). Epidermoid inclusion cysts are more common and may look similar. Both types of cysts are benign but can be removed if they are bothersome or inflamed.

I have a sebaceous cyst on my arm pit that has a yeast infection. Is there any way to get rid of the yeast infection?
Yeast in your armpit: Is not a common area for infection unless you have predisposing problems such as hidradenitis suppurtiva. But if its a superficial infection, most over the counter antifungals will work for you. If its more refractory, you will have to see your local physician for further treatment.See 1 more doctor answer
