What's the risks and treatment for a cyst in uterus while pregnant?

?fibroid: I presume you have a uterine fibroid, a common benign muscle tumor. Sometimes people call them fibroid cysts (fluid filled), though they are usually solid muscle. If I am right-nothing needs to be done. Fetal growth needs to be monitored with ultrasound and vaginal delivery is usually acceptable. ...Read more

I have a small cyst on my left ovary and my uterus is tilted to the left. Will that cause me to feel more aches? I'm 6 weeks pregnant

Probably not: since it is small. Tilted uterus is probably not due to the cyst . Cyst may need to be observed by your ob-gyn depending what kind of cyst it is. To contact me click here --> https://www.healthtap.com/experts/12714048-dr-vahe-yetimyan ...Read more

You need to wait: No one knows exactly what your sister has at this point. All those things you mentioned and more could be present. I am glad you have an ob-gyn taking care of your sister. Let it settle for a few days. I will hope that the pregnancy does well but no one can give you an accurate number. ...Read more

Thanks for the answer. The ultrasound from last month showed my Ovaries and Uterus looked fine and out of Cyst. Worry about ectopic pregnancy?

Thanks for the answer. The ultrasound from last month showed my Ovaries and Uterus looked fine and out of Cyst. Worry about ectopic pregnancy?

Why worry : Ovarian cysts are very common. They usually do not predispose you to ectopic pregnancy. There is no mention of an associated problem which may predispose to an ectopic pregnancy so I would not worry about. Ectopic pregnancy can occur without any cause so it is good to be followed by your obstetrician to be certain ...Read more

Am a studying doctor, went for follow up of my ovarian cyst saw a sac in uterus but am 3days due for period, negative test on 28day could i be pregnant?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

Hi! I am 32 years old & 9 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. (3 were c-section). 1st visit to gyno revealed a 2cm cyst in uterus. Is it very serious?

Hi! I am 32 years old & 9 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. (3 were c-section). 1st visit to gyno revealed a 2cm cyst in uterus. Is it very serious?

No: Let your track record speak for itself! if you've had 3 healthy pregnancies in the past, statistically for your young age group you should be fine. You need to follow up with your doctor regularly to make sure the "cyst" doesn't enlarge. As long as you feel fine, good weight gain and baby is growing well, don't go looking for a pandora's box to open. When diagnosis becomes clear, your OB will help. ...Read more

The dr checked my uterus and said that it was soft like i was pregnant. Then after the ultrasound she said no, that i had cysts. Is this normal?

Sounds fine.: Ovarian cysts are usually normal follicles and are of no concern unless they are larger than 7cm in your age group (then you get a follow up ultrasound after a couple of cycles). Sounds like you are doing great! ...Read more

Trying to get pregnant. When would one most likely ovulate on a 23 day cycle? And would cysts on uterus effect implantation?

Trying to get pregnant. When would one most likely ovulate on a 23 day cycle? And would cysts on uterus effect implantation?

Good luck: With a 23 day cycle, you would ovulate on cycle day 9. There is always 14 days from ovulation until the period starts. You should be having sex starting at least by cycle day 10 and continuing at least every other day until after cycle day 16. You can always have more sex but for the best chance to conceive don't have less than that noted above. ...Read more

I had abnormally large cysts, one getting as big as a football. And my doctor said I have server scaring on my uterus. Can this prevent pregnancy?

Depends: Cysts on ovaries? May scar them which are needed for eggs. Cysts of uterus are uncommon- check with him what the anatomy is/ was? Fallopian tubes - at least one must be intact non cystic and not scarred to allow eggs to travel from ovary to uterus to implant with healthy sperm to make a pregnancy. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
