Got u/s done and nurse said no bloodflow in lump on top of right testicle on epididymis most likely cyst or something else? Is no bloodflow good?

In this case yes.: US is used to help determine if a mass is a cancer or something less concerning. Cancer begins initially when cells stop communicating with their neighbors and start to grow faster then the rest. Before developing into a cancer the growing mass must be able to recruit blood vessels otherwise it cannot progress. Regular, smooth shape, freely mobile are all good signs if present.

Cyst (Definition)

A cyst is a structure or mass that consists of a cellular lined sac. It is typically filled with fluid but may be filled with solid material. It can be congenital, traumatic, or acquired. They may develop nearly anywhere in the body and usually require complete excision for eradication or they are likely to recur. Fluid filled sacs that are not cellular lined ...Read more

Got u/s done and nurse said no bloodflow in firm lump on top of right testicle on epididymis most likely cyst or something else? Is no bloodflow good?

Cyst likely: Cysts contain watery fluid & no blood vessels thus no blood flow. Lining of cyst is very thin & has blood vessels & flow but flow insufficient 2B detected by U/S. Suggest consult your "anxiety" Dr. If it's not adequately controlled. Good Luck.

I keep getting cyst all in my armpits and right below my Testicles?

I keep getting cyst all in my armpits and right below my Testicles?

Here are some...: Without more detailed specifics, relevance, & sequence of events of all symptoms + a direct look & palpation, it is still hard to tell precisely what they may be although clinicaly these may just be inborn hyperactive sebaceous glands of hair follicles or cysts; so, they are no curable and require no care. To verify these, go to articles listed in http://formefirst. Com/onDealSickness. Html.

I have what I believe is a cyst in the bottom center of my testicles. Will drawing salve help it?

See a doctor: Do not attempt to do such by your self. Some cyst may not need any intervention except for symptomatic. Your urologist will be in best position to advise.

My husband has a cyst in his right testicle his sperm count is 0 does that mean he won't have children?

My husband has a cyst in his right testicle his sperm count is 0 does that mean he won't have children?

Azoospermia: Azoospermia is defined as the complete lack of sperm in the ejaculate. It occurs in 5% of infertile men. If this is the case, then one or both of two conditions may be present (“causes”): There is a problem with sperm production or there is a blockage such that sperm production, although normal, cannot reach the ejaculate. If truly no Sperm, than he cannot have children. Get eval with fertility dr

My 3 year old was diagnosed with epidiymal cyst on his left testicle. I'm worried sick- he goes in for another ultrasound next week. Can u help?

It is not serious: Epididymal Cyst also called Spermatocele is a benign condition. It is a painless fluid filled cyst in the long tightly coiled tube that lies behind each testis (Epididymis) It is often asymptomatic&can be felt as a lump above the testis on one side of scrotum. It is only treated if it cause pain&will often get smaller as body absorps the fluid If it gets larger or causes pain rarely surgery needed

Epididymal cyst: Epididymal cysts are very common and are generally nonpainful. The exception would be if they're associated with epididymitis. Anabiotic's may be helpful in this case.

Scrotal lump: What your describing is likely a cystic structure within the epididymis- the structure behind the traits. It is called a spermatocelectomy or epididymal cyst. It is benign and nothing of concern. You should be evaluated by your medical doctor or a urologist for verification.

What is a complex cyst? And a saptated cyst? On testicle

What is a complex cyst? And a saptated cyst? On testicle

Nothing big: Complex can mean it has other stuff in it other than water. Septated means there's a membrane within the cyst. Usually either one can be observed but can get removed if painful or large.

What are the odds of a teenager (18 years old) developing a cyst in his testicle?

What are the odds of a teenager (18 years old) developing a cyst in his testicle?

Unknown, but common: Cystic structures can develop in or around the testicle. Cystic enlargements of the epididymis (spermatocele), the space around the testicle (hydrocele), or arising from the cells on or inside the testicle can occur and are easily visible on ultrasound. The prevalence is unknown, but ultrasound screening studies show cysts in about 10% of scans. Fortunately, these are benign.

Do health consequences result from having a cyst on a testicle, besides cancer? If so, what are they?

Do health consequences result from having a cyst on a testicle, besides cancer? If so, what are they?

Most likely benign..: Despite medical advance, most of medical care is still based on indirect evidence resulting from continual collection & analysis of available experience. Within this in mind, a reasonable approach to ascertain what a suspected lesion may be but with no 100% guaranty. Thus far, a testicular cyst could be followed conservatively with periodic palpation, US, & even blood tests for 1-3 yrs; then....

Here are some. ..: What you described probably represents the occurrence of sebaceous cysts in the scrotal wall, instead in the testes. If so, leave them alone as long as being mentally and physically comfortable. But, occasionally, active care may be required if infection occurs to them. For details, ask Doc timely.

I have a very painful verecele on my left testicle and a painful cyst on my right, both diagnosed by ultrasound tests, how best is this treated?

Varicocele: Is highly unlikely that varicoceles cause severe pain, there is usually something else going on. The cyst on the right testicle is probably a spermatocele and mostly treated conservatively with nsaid's, as a last resort, surgery. I would see a urologist and see what he recommends.

Cyst: You probably have a spermatocele (cyst of the epididymis containing sperm. Those are benign and do not need treatment unless they are large and bother you. Aspiration of the cyst usually does not get rid of them and may get infected.

What should you do if you have a cyst or lump on the testicles?

What should you do if you have a cyst or lump on the testicles?

Confirm first...: Most of laypersons tend to refer epididymal cysts as testicular cyst or bump. Cyst in epididymis is much more common than the rare one in the testes. So, verify if such cyst/bump is indeed in a testis or epididymis. If in epididymis, do nothing if asymptomatic; if in testis, usually require surgical exploration to make sure of not being testicular cancer. For individual decision/concern, ask Doc.

Depends: Probably this is a simple follicle problem. Best bet is to see your doctor for a proper exam and diagnosis.

I have a lump on the top of my testicle that I can move around but it still feels sorta connected to the testicle. Is this a cyst or cancer?

Spermatocele?: You are likely describing something called a spermatocele. This is a cyst at the head of the epididymis containing sperm. Unless they are causing symptoms they are left alone. They do not interfere with fertility. Cancer will be a hard area felt on the testicle. Best to see a physician to be sure it's a spermatocele.

Testicles (Definition)
