Flax seed: People use it for menopausal symptoms and increase cholesterol. As for menopausal symptoms there are no randomized study that proves its effect. Could be: These findings a very non-specific. If there is a chance you might be pregnant then an eary gestational sac is a consideration which you could test with a urine pregnancy test. Endometrial cysts do also happen although i might suspect not that common. ...Read more

Endometrial hyperpla: She has what's called Endometrial hyperplasia & dysfunctional uterine bleeding caused by continuous estrogen stimulation to the uterus. She needs gyne referral, & likely a D&C procedure to treat the bleeding & to screen for endometrial carcinoma (Cancer) which this hyperplasia can predispose to. Not normal: Cysts are common if small but your lining is thicker than normal. Are you not hanging periods? Are you taking estrogen without a Progesterone ? This lining needs to come out sehoe and the cells be looked st to be sure they are normal. Your body is getting estrogen out of proportion to progesterone. ...Read more

Unclear findings: The endometrial thickness is typically not important in women before menopause as it will vary depending on the menstrual cycle. A cystic appearance could indicate endometrial polyps. Follow up: Risperidone is associated with hyperprolactinemia and galactorrhea. Lowering the dose may or may not help. Only time will you will need a repeat us to check you lining and ovary. Both of these findings can be dependent on the timing of your cycle. If you are midcycle, you lining may be normal as well as your cyst. Follow up and discuss with your gynecologist. ...Read more

Proves nothing: unfortunately, you can't say for certain. The thickness of the lining of the uterus is due to the estrogen the ovaries are producing. If you had ovulated, the ovary should still show a remnant of that ovulation in the form of a corpus luteum. Perhaps is was there and missed by ultrasound? If you are trying for a pregnancy, use the ovulation predictor kits available at all pharmacies. ...Read more
