Hi, I have cyst removed from both of my ovaries on 2009. Do I have chances to get pregnant? If yes, will there be any complication during pregnancy?
Did u ask your OB: It usually goes away by 10-11 weeks because that is when the placenta takes over for the hormones, but a cyst can persist into the 2nd trimester , if it does it just needs to be followed to make sure it is getting smaller an not larger, the pain should not be getting worse because that could signal the cyst is growing or has twisted or ruptured and your OB should be following u closely. ...Read more

Most ovarian cysts do not change size in pregnancy and do not require any treatment. If you develop symptoms of pain due to the cyst or if the cyst significantly grows then you might need surgery to remove it. Most surgery is done prior to 20 weeks. ...Read more

A 9mm cyst is pretty small and i would be surprised that your doctor even commented when so small. Typically these cysts are filled with water. We don't know why they form, inflammation? Regardless, when filled with water, they almost always resolve. Unless 9cm... Which means maybe surgery. ...Read more
