Cuts On Lips Herpes
Not likely: More likely it would be perleche, which is also called angular cheilitis. It is not associated with a vitamin deficiency. To treat it you can buy Hydrocortisone cream 1% and Clotrimazole cream, mix a small amount of both on the fingers and apply to the rash three times a day for a week or so. If it is herpes then it will enlarge and become a group of blisters. ...Read more

My boyfriend has sores above his lips from the past two weeks healing now though, he got a cut while shaving and bumps were formed could it be herpes?
Yes it could...: If he developed sores/blisters with burning type of pain, itchiness most likely this is herpes type 1, which is usually located in the oral(mouth) area. However, he was shaving so this could also be a folliculitis which is an infection or irritation of the base of the hair he shaved. If it is healing then there is nothing else for now he needs to do unless he gets them again. If so should see PCP. ...Read more
I noticed small cuts on my clitoris and front of vaginal lips. No bumps. 1 sexual partner and always protected sex. Cuts went away in a week. Herpes?
Cuts on genital area: Interesting question — Herpes if anything will cause tiny blisters and itching/pain but generally NOT something that looks like cuts. — unlikely they are from shaving (if you shave — unlikely you are shaving your clitoris). From clothing?? But to answer your question — unlikely that its from Herpes especially if you have protected sex with 1 partner. Hope that helps ...Read more
3 weeks after possible infection -blood test for herpes 7 weeks after upper lip inside cut and tender checked with doc who saiditsnotherpwhatelseisit?
Doubt herpes: Confusing sequence. 3 weeks after exposure or onset of "cut"? What kind of exposure? Partner known to be infected? A "cut" inside lip doesn't suggest herpes, regardless of exposure. Neg test 7 wk after suspected exposure also is reassuring. It takes 12-16 weeks to be conclusive, but it is very unlikely you caught herpes. Most exposures don't result in transmission. Maybe a real cut? Canker sore? ...Read more
Can you get oral herpes from someone who u don't kiss but she gives u head but doesn't have any open sores or cold sores and I had no cuts on my d?
Possible but unlikel: Hi Roy. It's possible for someone to shed the herpes virus and be asymptomatic. People with oral herpes may secrete the virus 2% to 9% of the time when they are not having sores. That being said, if they are asymptomatic and secreting the virus, the amount of virus being shed is much less. You can be tested for infection. I would recommend knowing your sex partner And both of you testing for STD ...Read more
Can you get herpes 2 from sharing a cigarette while having a cut on your tongue with someone who has herpes 2 in mouth and genital areas?
I shaked hands with a person who has oral herpes right after he was touching his mouth. I had a cut in my finger but he didn't have any sores present.
A Vanquished Virus: Herpes simplex or "cold sore" which occur about the mouth are most infectious to others when there is an active lesion. Viral shedding also occurs on a much lower basis when there are no lesions present, but in a small area where the actual cold sore exists. Unless contact with that area for a sufficient duration occurred with your open wound directly, transmission is unlikely to have happened. ...Read more

Hi, I recently received oral sex about 3 days ago and I noticed a little bump on the labia. No itch or burn. I do use a razor so can it be a cut from that or more serious? Also, I kissed the person so if it was herpes wouldn't it be on my mouth too?
Need to examine:
It is not feasible to know without examining you. Herpes type 1, that usually affects the mouth can infect genitals as well. It would be prudent to see a doctor and get tested.

Possible: Herpes will not appear if you have never been exposed to the virus. However, most people have been exposed to the type of herpes that can cause "cold sores" on the lips.
