Is there is any his-: Tory of injury or infection of the arm/forearm areas? Tight muscles probably would result from severe scarring, either injury/surgery or infections. An infrequent but bad problem would be a compartment syndrome ( from an injury, compression of a cast) can certainly cause tightness of the forearm. Radiculopathy: Pain radiating down the arm could be multiple things including a disc problem in the neck. If it has been going on for over a year after the first MRI, a second one would be in order. Pectoralis tightness will not cause this, but trapezius tight will. Trigger point injections to the trapezius could help relax that muscle and take pressure off of the nerves running down to the arm. ...Read more
