OTC meds: Medications like Guaifenesin which could be found in Robitussin or Mucinex (guaifenesin) can be helpful. Also for nasal stuffiness you could try afrin nasal spray one spray in each nostril twice a day. Please only take for three days as there's a high risk of rebound rhinitis if you take for longer than three days. ...Read more

No but: You can ask your doctor to give your something (antihistamine nasal spray ?) to decongest your nose or try breathright strip to keep your nose open while doing the drainage. Camel milk?: I was unable to locate any peer-reviewed published research regarding camel milk and chronic cough. Anytime something is touted as a cure-all for anything ; everything that ails you, i get very skeptical. It doesn't mean it won't work, just that i want to see some proof. I can't imagine too many camels in ma, much less easy access to it at your local grocers. Best to go see your doc re your cough. ...Read more

Sinus: Sometimes when over the counter medicines don't work, a nasal steroid spray such as Flonase or Nasonex (mometasone) will. If dizziness persists, see your doctor to evaluate for inner ear disease. ...Read more
Xray- no bronchitis. chronic asthma, severe congest., had a scratchy throat, burn in chest. steroids & nebulizer- little relief.
Nothing!!!: There are no medications that will definitively "cure"congestion. Etiology is usually viral or allergic and treatment is usually fluids, making the child comfortable (with a cold). You can also try a decongestant but that, like tylenol, (acetaminophen) is only for symptomatic relief--meaning that the congestion will return when the decongestant wears off. An antihistamine can be used if allergy is the cause. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Sounds like a virus: You are describing a upper respiratory infection. Many of these can last several weeks before your feel normal. It is also possible that you have caught a second one. Help please? What is the best medicine for sore throat, cough, stuffy nose, and relief for mucus?
Cold or flu: If less than 48 hours, and there truly is fever (temp > 100.3) then get to a doctor to get tested/examined to determine whether or not flu is present. If not, then you have a cold. I'm a big fan of the dayquil(for daytime, duh)/nyquil (for nightime)combination. Mucinex (guaifenesin) d can help with the mucous, plain Mucinex (guaifenesin) if ur hypertensive (high blood pressure) if worsening, you need to be seen. ...Read more
