Don't do it: This won't do any good at all and could be irritating and make yeast symptoms worse. Vaginal yeast infections need medical treatment. There are excellent over-the-counter drugs, including single dose oral fluconazole (Diflucan), or any of several vaginal creams -- look for active ingredient ending in "azole". Antibiotics v yogurt: Bacterial vaginosis is an imbalance in vaginal bacteria. Standard treatment is antibiotics, not bathing as described so go see family doc or gynecologist. There is some evidence that eating yogurt w/lactobacilli might help restore balance but studies aren't definitive. Helps: Vinegar is acidic so it would protect from yeast but it would not cure you. You need antifungal medication, along with vinegar douching and probiotics to avoid recurrance. ...Read more

No: U need otc yeast meds they usually work, if they do not then u may need a script med like Diflucan (fluconazole) or gynazole-1 if u do apple cider vinegar with a yeast that could cause severe burning and vaginal irritation. ...Read more
