Sure: Probiotics are just collections of bacteria and the various bacteria do not interact with each other. You can take as many different types as you wish with no negative effects. But there is no evidence that a single probiotic, let alone several at once, cure any specific GI problems. No worries, but...: There are many Lactobacillus types, and various studies have tried amounts of 1-10 billion CFUs (colony forming units) in babies, without seeing any bad side effects. Hives, antibiotics: Suspect reaction to sulfa. See prescribing doc who will probably change antibiotic. Use benadryl/zyrtec & zantac (combo hits both types of histamine receptor for faster resolution of reaction).
