No worries, but...: There are many Lactobacillus types, and various studies have tried amounts of 1-10 billion CFUs (colony forming units) in babies, without seeing any bad side effects. That being said, there is seldom much research that one can find on one particular brand or strain of Lactobacillus use in babies... so no worries, but "user beware". ...Read more

Now: Ceftin (cefuroxime) is an antibiotic that does not last in the bloodstream for many days like a commonly used antibiotic called zpak or zithromax. If it has been 10 days after stopping Ceftin (cefuroxime) it would be safe to assume that the antibiotic is out of your system and that you can stop the probiotic. ...Read more

Nothing you are: Taking sounds like it can be dangerous to your health unless what is being treated with the proctofoam and miralax/probiotics has not been correctly diagnosed. With little other information i can't be of much more health. Discuss your concerns with your doctor. ...Read more
