Will at CT scan show ligament/tendon damage? I had bimoeallar ankle factures, would it show the damage to the soft tissue structures of the foot?

Extremely painful, swollen/puffy and stiff ankle. Ct scan showed fluid in and around ankle joint. No breaks or fractures. What could this indicate?
Could be a few: Things, from infection to a synovitis. As the other doctor said, if you have a fever or chills or just are feeling sick, go to the er in case it's an infection. If you've had a ct, you're probably under a doctor's care. Pulling out the fluid and sending it for a culture and analysis would give you the diagnosis. Is it safe with walking on hair line fractured talus bone. Minimal pain but swelling on ankle. Avn is not confirmed in CT scan.
Probably not: It is always better to take the pressure off particularly if there is swelling . It does not mean that you should not walk but use the boots you can buy from pharmacies or medical supply offices until you see your orthopedic doc.
