CT 3 years ago: Was for the same complaint? If so then you need to repeat to make sure there is no potential malignancy IF your pain has been going on for several months and would not go away. The contrast material used for ct is quite safe but may in rare instances affect the kidneys, more commonly in diabetic patients.
