No: There is a very wide range of normal for little babies in terms of the bowel habit. Believe it or not little babies can go for up to 2 weeks without passing a stool and it is still considered normal provided they are not distressed. Bottle fed babies are more prone to constipation than breast fed. Make sure you have the ratio of formula to water measured accurately and otherwise cary on! ...Read more

Rule out pregnancy: Check a urine pregnancy test (first response brand) if you are having sex. Painful and/or heavy periods can be a sign of estrogen excess. If the pregnancy test is negative, cut the sugar, refined carbs out of your diet. Eat organically or at least avoid the dirty dozen. Med eval: Hello. Don't know gender or age. Chronic nausea and vomiting warrants medical evaluation. In the meantime a simple way to reduce nausea is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger & steep at least 5 min in a covered pot. Sip. How often are you changing formula? How well is the baby growing? Is it possible you are overfeeding the child? Are you burping the baby frequently (after each ounce)? It: It sounds like you are suffering from ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) the traumatic event being your husband abusing you. This is very common as a result of domestic violence situations such as yours. My recommendation for you is to seek the care of a medical professional right away. You need intensive counseling as well as screening for depression and anxiety. You may need drug therapy in addition to counseling.
If you feel like hurting yourself and/or make a plan to hurt yourself or someone else call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Manipulation: Kids at that age don't have the sense of right & wrong that they will acquire after age 8 or so. If they don't want to do something they understand that parents will respond to their crying & feigned illness. Controller med: Your baby does need to be seen by a specialist. Wheezing at this age may be due to a number of conditions. Crying and increased respiratory effort may be the result of the asthma. If the baby wheezes often, a controller medication such as Pulmicort nebulized solution is used. This is an aerosol form of a steroid.

Possible!: Up to 20% of people can can have nausea &vomiting and that alone could cause the high blood pressure as part of the stress reaction. I don't know if you took your blood pressure, but symptoms of headache or migraine may also occur. Although it can happen high BP itself is very uncommon, though. Call prescribing doc immed. Try 1/2 strength Gatoraide. If not able to take fluid go to ER. ...Read more

Need more info: Did you vomit and the smell persists? You can have some in your throat that would be improved with gargling saline and rinsing your nose with lukewarm clean saline. If I had to guess, it's more your known problem of reflux that is flaring up with stress, so try some reflux medication in addition to the above. And call your doctor to be sure. ...Read more
