Cross Eye Punched Face
My 5 month old has cross eye and her dr wants her to be checked by an eye dr. And waiting for appt. I'm freaking. What to expect! How is ittreated?
What to do if I got a cross eye a while ago, I think because I was rubbing my eye too much, and I wanted to know if glasses or contacts can fix this problem?

No: Unless you have underlying accomodative esotropia, computer use will not cause your eyes to cross. If you have accomodative esotropia whenever you focus on close objects your eyes tend to converge too much. Wearing the proper glasses will prevent your eyes from crossing. You should see a pediatric ophthalmologist for a work-up to identify the cause and outline a treatment plan. Catching the problem at a younger age like this is helpful in most cases.

Type of soap?: If you got soap in your eye, the 1st thing to do is copiously rinse your eye with tap water, eye rinse, or normal saline right away. Do this this for several minutes.
