Is terbinafine 1% topical cream enough for interdigital tinea pedis?
Give some tips to prevent recurrence
Maybe: There are many treatment alternatives. Lamisil (terbinafine) topical is as good a start as any other topical. Other otc preparations have different chemicals and could be tried after after one month of no results. Moisture is a large factor so I recommend an anti fungal powder in the mornings. Exfoliating skin is another factor s the intertiginous spaces needs to be scrubbed.Withoutresults see a podiatrist. ...Read more

Read the directions: There should be something with it. I suggest using a small amount to rub all over the affected skin. Wash off after a few hours or over night. Expect to see desired result in appearance after a few weeks. Expect recurrence. The more you sweat the more you will get TV. Is nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide safe to use in my face for seb dermatitis? It's 1% strength.
No (very short!): The concentration of triamcinolone (tac) is too high. For the face, concentrations should be 0.025 or less of tac. Problems that occur if you use this high concentration is thinning of the skin and steroid acne. Usually no higher that 2.5% (hc)hydrocortisone (or equivalent) is recommended on the face. The otc hc cream is actually only 0.1%. You will need to see your doc for a prescription. ...Read more
What helps the extreme fibro itch? I've tried prescription hydrocortisone 2.5%, eczema lotion, & aveeno oatmeal bath. Help!!!
"fibro- itch"": Sorry- I am not certain what you are referring to. Please clarify your question. Fibromyalgia- is not a itching illness. I suggest OTC antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Zyrtec. I see you are also taking Norco- this can be a narcotic side effect. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
No: The "pop" claim that the principal cause of acne is touching your face is silly. Acne is a chronic, non-lifestyle-related, serious disease for which you deserve effective treatment. If 5% topical benzoyl peroxide 2x/day has not worked after 2 weeks, get on the phone with your personal physician. Prescription-strength rx of some sort will control it until it eventually self-cures. ...Read more

Dry skin: Dry skin often results from irritating exposures from soaps and chemicals. Stopping the exposure such as by wearing gloves is imperative. Maintaining a diet and appropriate hydration. Rather than Hydrocortisone or other creams try using unrefined organic coconut oil or 100% pure aloe Vera gel which both work well for healthy moist skin and can be applied safely as needed. ...Read more
