Hi can I use cremaffin syrup while bresrfeeding my baby is just 18 days... Does cremaffin effect baby on brestfeed??
I used cremaffin (magnesia, milk) for constipation for 4 days but not usefull. What is the best medicine for chronic constipation? Pls reply?

Probably won't help: The studies done on how much kids cough who take cough meds vs those who don't very clearly show that cough meds really don't make much difference. Many actually contain a med to suppress cough and a med to make you have a more productive cough within the same medicine! Better to use humidity, push fluids. Medication: Usually the answer is yes. For example standard liquid Diphenhydramine (benadryl) as 12.5mg in every 5ml of liquid. No: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages & exposure to dust, fragrences, smoke & other irritants trigger cough. Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & suctioning the remainder. Yes: you can give them together. Loratadine though doesn't help congestion, it helps control sneezing, runny nose and nasal itching, Mucinex would loosen the mucus secretions, also saline nasal washes can help some, if no improvement , better see her doctor for assessment, wish you both wellness ...Read more
