Heard that creatine reduces immunity.....Is it true? Also does creatine have any short term side effects as iam not planning to take it too long?
Side effects creatin: Creatine is safe and used extensively, following side effects 1 dehydration it can cause your body to get dehydrated quicker than normal, which can be avoided by drinking extra fluids 2stomach discomfort and cramping in some and can be avoided as well by drinking plenty of water. There is no evidence to suggest it reduces immunity.
Creatine: Drink plenty of fluid while taking creatine. Although it has not been proven, dehydration, heat-related illnesses, muscle cramps, reduced blood volume, and electrolyte imbalances are expected to be more likely to occur while taking creatine. Creatine has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or purity. All potential risks and/or advantages of creatine may not be known. Additionally, there are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for these compounds. There have been instances where herbal/health supplements have been sold which were contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.
Not really: If you take it in small amounts it will be fine. It is metabolized to creatinine so people with significant kidney issues should avoid it.
Use appropriately: Creating is naturally found in the body and is important in the process of supplying the energy for muscles to work. When used appropriately, can be helpful in refueling the muscle immediately after a work out. However, one of the side effects is drawing water into the muscle tissue and out of circulation basically causing a relative dehydration.Muscle cramping, stomach cramping and nausea can occur.
If I take creatine for a long time while I lift weights and then I leave my training. What are the side effects?
None: Your skin may be a bit stretched if you got really bit. Especially, whether or not you continue resistance training, I hope you'll continue to be aerobically active. Good luck.
Let me help: One concern with continuous supplementation the body might decline in its ability to produce creatine on its own. Another issue concerns the other ingredients that accompany creatine in various supplement products. You should compare labels of competing brands carefully to determine whether you feel comfortable with the other ingredients.
