Since: Since you wrote this question a few days ago, I hope you've been treated! Unfortunately for women, untreated infections such as chlamydia and gonorrhea can worsen into pelvic inflammatory disease (pid). Pid is an infection of the uterus and fallopian tubes which can increase the chance of infertility and tubal pregnancies. If you know you have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease, the sooner you can be treated, the better. Below I've attached a website with information and pid and chlamydia.
