Creams For Dark Underarms
Hydroquinone: That is the best lightening agent for skin.
Do you recommend any of these: porcelana day/night cream, even tone fade cream, or esoterica fade cream? Do they work for dark underarms too?
Yes: These all contain hydroquinone which is a bleaching agent but they are available over-the-counter so contain less percentage of the active ingredient than is available in prescription products or those that are dispensed from doctors' offices. They do help somewhat with dark patches but don't expect them to clear completely. If not helping enough, see doctor for higher strength or procedures.
Hyperpigmented skin: There is a cream called hydroxiquinone that can be used to lighten the skin. Make an appointment with your family doctor or a dermatologist to evalate and treat you.
I hAve dark underarms and im using hydroquinone with retinon for 3 weeks now and I have redness that doesn't fade away should I stop using the cream?
Yes: Tretinoin is irritating and so is hydroquinone. Coming from Jordan, you may have a skin type that darkens when it is irritated so this could actually make your dark underarms worse. The initial darkening itself could have resulted from irritating deodorant, unless it is familial. You might possibly be able to lighten it with laser treatment, but need to be seen by a specialist to be safe.
I have a reddish dark spot under my armpit. Not itchy or raised. Not responding to antifungal cream. What could it be?
Need to be seen: Rashes need a visual exam to make a correct DX
What's the best way to get rid of armpit hair to avoid them and having chicken skin and the best way to treat chicken skin, and dark underarms.
Depends: I'd recommend using a tweezer, or waxing or having it lasered off. I'm not too sure what chicken skin is!
Underarm eczema: If it is sore and inflame you can use cortisone, and once healed you can then use bleaching cream.
What is the use of chemical peel in whitening the underarm? How does it work with the whitening cream? Can the whitening cream whitens alone d underar
Underarm rash: Underarm rashes may be the result of an allergic reaction to a deodorant or antiperspirant. However, heat, fungal skin conditions as well as razor burn may be to blame too. A rash under the arm can be embarrassing as the urge to scratch may be over powering. You can try otc cortisone twice a day but if not improved see your doctor.
I have a pain in my armpit for more than 5 month. Doc gave me antibiotec cream and then tablets. The pain still goes and comes.
Diagnosis?: I am not sure of what the cause of your axillary (armpit) pain was/ is? Potential causes for armpit pain include inflamed lymph nodes, cysts, musculoskeletal injury, infection & nerve injury. However in some cases a cardiac event can have pain radiating to the axilla as one of the symptoms (which requirse immediate intervention). Recommend you contact your physician & advise of continued sxs.
Bump in armpit, rounded, no pain just discomfort, no visible pus. Slightly red appearance. Almost 1.5 weeks unresolved. No success- clobeng cream. Dx?
Concern: See a breast or general surgeon. Full evaluation is indicated.
Not usually: Enlarged lymph nodes represent some sort of inflammation, often infectious in nature, that will resolve once the underlying problem resolves. Apply steroids to the skin overlying the node usually has limited to no effect. There are other types of "lumps" in the armpit that will respond to steroids though, but these diagnosis are best made through an inperson evaluation.
If I have a fungal infection on my underarm & using daktacort, can I still shave my underarm? Or should I wait to apply cream until I can stop shavin?
I would: I would apply the dakacort after shaving. This should help.
I have a pimple like bump under my armpit and it hurts kinda bad and I've been putting acne cream on it and I got it yesterday?
My brother is 23 he has a mobile painful and tender lump in the armpit area it appears after shaving, increased in size with antibiotic cream.
See a doctor: The list of possible causes for an enlarged lymph node in the axilla is very long. The key here is to excude conditions that may have the potential to become progressively worse (particularly cancers), and could be cured with early intervention. See your primary care doctor and get this diagnosed and managed.
Can lupus lesions be located in the armpit? Looking red and inflamed, raised, and sour smelling? Thought it was yeast but cream didn't seem to help.
Lupus is less likely: Lupus is less likely. If anti fungal cream did not help, I recommend you to see a doctor for further evaluation. It might be bacterial infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics.See 1 more doctor answer
