Apply beyond border: It depends on how long you have used the cream -- you may need to continue for a while longer. Also, you may need to apply more of the cream to the border and even slightly beyond the border to ensure that it lightens. No: They don't work at all. I really wish they did, believe me! they will fade with time. There are also laser treatments that can help but these are quite expensive. And there's no point now because if you plan to have more children, you might get new stretch marks. A pediatrician can look to see if there is anything unusual about the spot. Sunscreen helps. For new cuts and abrasions, covering them with a bandaid after applying neosporin, may help.
