Not likely: You may get mild cramps, but not likely to have gas or pain. It could be a virus or irritable bowel? If you have fever or blood in stool, please see an MD again and I hope you feel better. ...Read more

But in people whom run more than 7 miles they can have a condition call ischemic colitis, blood supply to the colon get compromised because of blood shunting to the muscles.
