Get it checked out: There can be a lot of things causing left lower abdominal pain including constipation, infection, colitis, kidney stone, bladder stone, and many more. The only way to tell is with a careful history and examination. Also some tests like x-rays, ct scans, and/or blood tests may be needed to narrow it down. 12 hours is a long time. Cramps pain: If you had a normal cycle at the normal time for normal duration, and you have regular cycles 28 days aparti would not think that you have ovulated on day 10 of the cycle, thus you shouldn't be pregnant yet if trying.... Probably normal: This is most likely pain that happens when your uterus starts to stretch the round ligament. Just now or always?: If all of your periods are associated with the symptoms you describe, then you could have pelvic endometriosis. If it is just with this period, it could just be muscle aches and pains. See your local ob/gyn doctor if this is a chronic problem. ...Read more
