Maybe (not) . . .: For birth control pills to work, it's important to take them regularly within a few hrs of same time daily. If you can't take pills regularly, ask about a shot every 3 months or a hormonal ring placed in vagina once a month. I can't tell you what's available in australia but here in the states, home pregnancy tests are inexpensive & available w/o prescription at grocery store & pharmacies. ...Read more

No: Not sure what you mean. 2 embryos were placed in but that does not mean they implanted. If the pregnancy test was negative then that means the embryos never implanted and you are not pregnant. Likely the symptoms are from a period about to begin. ...Read more

Breakthrough: Sounds as if there is some instability in your uterine lining that's causing bleeding before your period and then bleeding afterward, Typically controlled by estrogen and progesterone, the 2 hormones made by your ovaries. You can try some ibuprofen (600-800mg) to help with cramping. In order to regulate your cycle, may want to consider birth control pills. Hope that helps! ...Read more
