It is really not: that unusual to have PRE-menstrual cramping/cramping during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. They result from an increase in prostaglandin hormones and are associated with endometriosis, ovarian cysts/normal corpus luteum function, fibroids, early pregnancy etc. Check a pregnancy test if/when you miss your period. Complicated: As you know CD38 is a glycoprotein. Loss of CD38 function is associated with many bad illnesses. This does not apply to you since you are receiving it.
