Cramps 6 Days After Embryo Transfer
It depends: If the transfer was difficult, a tenaculum needed, or if there was a wide ectropion of the cervix bleeding could have been stirred up with the procedure. Sometimes we see bleeding/ spotting with vaginal Progesterone use. The cramping may be due to other causes such as ovarian enlargement and not of uterine etiology. I would recommed calling your ivf program to discuss with them. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo (s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. Et is the final step in an ivf cycle, and is done in some other circumstances as well. It is extremely safe, mostly comfortable, and usually not technically difficult. Experts agree on its importance, but ...Read more

I am 5 days post embryo transfer. I am feeling contraction like cramps. I am not bleeding but this tightening in my uterus is making me nervous.
7 days after embryo transfer I started to spot lightly and then a day later it got heavier and lasted 6 days. What are the chances I am pregnant?
Several reasons: The bleeding could be due to several different possibilities. It could be your menses coming on, a pregnancy loss, implantation bleeding or even from local irritation from vaginal progesterone supplements. You should follow your clinic's instructions for your medications and blood work, and not be afraid to call them if you have questions or concerns. Read more
Greater than 5: To be pregnant. 'how' high depends on how many embryos were transferred, and at what stage (multicell, blast), among other things. Read more
No cause: There's no reason for Progesterone to drop following et, but levels definitely will fluctuate. As long as they are within a (pretty wide) range, they are okay. In most et cycles, supplemental Progesterone is given - you don't say in yours. The dosing is adjusted to keep the levels in range. Read more
Not sure: Generally, nine days after an embryo transfer, you draw your blood for a HCG level. Most clinics do not measure estrogen. If the results are low, it is generally indicative that you may not be pregnant. At our clinic, even if the levels are low, we repeat them in 3-4 days, "just to be sure". Sometimes, but not often, low e2 or HCG levels can result in a good pregnancy. Good luck. Read more
Common: This is really common; it could mean a lot of things, or nothing at all. It's likely not to worry about, but - have you told your ivf doctor? He/she would want to be the first to know. Read more
I had a orgasm 4 days after embryo transfer could that have caused me not to conceive? I'm at day 6 now and I'm stressing out. Orgasms wasn't intercoar
No: Many of the things that we ask women not to do or to do after embryo transfer such as restrain from intercourse or bed rest in reality don't have enough scientific evidence to support them. Implantation is a very solid process and it is very unlikely that it will be interrupted by an orgasm. Please don't worry and wait for the pregnancy test. The result of that tests will depends on other factors. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If the Hcg titre is 78.87, measured 12 days after embryo transfer of 2 embryos, 3day post fertilisation, both are8 cells. Is this level good or low?
Very early: It is good that you have a positive pregnancy test. Not many other conclusions can be made form this limited information. Usually the doctors will check the BHCG over a few days to establish a normally rising trend. Eventually ultrasound will be done to verify a normal pregnancy Read more
