I have been on the mirena (levonorgestrel) for 2 years now and have a period every month but here lately have been cramping 2 weeks after my period what could this mean could I possibly be pregnant?
Possibly: You can have cramping with the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud just related to having an iud in place. However, if you are having new symptoms of cramping, it would be a good idea to make sure the iud is in place. If you are suspicious you are pregnant - not common with an iud but can happen - you should do a home test as the iud will usually be removed if you are pregnant. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

After : After having a miscarriage it can take months for your hormones to normalize. For this reason, you are having irregular periods (length, consistency, and amount of blood). Typically i tell my patients to wait until they have had 3 normal periods before trying to conceive again. This way i know that their uterine lining is normal and their hormones have stabilized. This will give a woman better odds of sustaining the next pregnancy. I know it is hard to suffer a miscarriage and want a baby right away, but give your body a little time to recover, and soon enough you will be pregnant again, and hopefully have no problems whatsoever. Best of luck. ...Read more
Light spotting n light cramps week after period. had sex 6th day of period. Girl irregular. Period every other month. But last two didn't skip. Preg?
Hard to guess, but: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed. ...Read more
