Possible: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) can also make your breast swollen and tender and with mood swings. Sometimes, you can have a hormonal cyst that makes delays your period. By taking Provera (medroxyprogesterone), the hormonal cyst is not treated. So, the hormonal cyst continues to make hormones which makes you moody and also gives you swollen and tender breasts. There are 2 reasons: that unlikely that you're pregnant. First is that you're unlikely to get pregnant during your period, especially the first day. Second, you've been on birth control for years. On the other hand, a pregnancy test this soon is likely to be negative even if you did conceive.
