Yes: A little cramping is normal. It's normal to have cramps about as bad as normal menstrual cramps. You should not have bad cramps. If you do, you could have something serious going on - an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage in progress. Generally the "danger zone" is up to 12 weeks.
