Type your question...Diagnosed with diverticulosis 3 years ago. Occasionally I have small cramp like pain in lower left abdomen. Usually on and off for a day and then stops. No fever or chills. Is this something that is just part of the diverticulosis?

PELVIC PAIN: Multiple causes come to mind, but as an ER physician, my "worst case scenario" thought process makes me think of ovarian torsion, which is a twisting of the ovary, where the blood flow gets cut off.
