For 'runners knee' which running shoe would u recommend - Asics Gel Enhance Ultra 3 Running Shoe or Brooks Womens Adrenaline GTS 15 Running Shoe?
Not just Shoes...: Either shoe will do, but shoes are not the end all treatment for runners knee. There are many more things to consider before fixating on the shoe type. More important is whether you had, presently have or are in a preventive mode for the treatment of the problem. I suggest you seek out a sports medicine ortho specialist to do a proper evaluation and subsequent treatment and exercise protocol. ...Read more
Im quiet an active adrenalin junkie person such as out door sports , scuba diving, motocross ect. Will a breast augmentation limit me with activities?
No limitations: The short answer is that breast implants should not limit your lifestyle. However, it is important that they not be too large and that you are aware of all of the ramifications in terms of implants in athletic women. Whencan i resume physical activity after normal delivey, such as walking, jogging, cleaning house?
As you can tolerate: If you r not having much pain or bleeding, you can go about and pretty much do anything you want/can. Just be sensible, easy yourself back into the activities and take a rest when needed. Pregnancy and birth, as well as caring for the baby can take quite a toll on you and so eat well, sleep, and listen to your body. School nurse needs advise on excusing girls from swimming during menses when student won't use tampons. Big pushback from PE staff.

To deter abuse of the privilege by students, a good compromise may be not an excuse from PE, just from swimming. They can dress out in shorts/tee and sit poolside if needed to attend class.Forcible use of tampons is assault. Humiliation is abuse ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have only read about kitesurfing but it appears rather dynamic to me. Check out http://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:239141/FULLTEXT01.pdf. ...Read more
What to do after exposing yourself to an athletes foot environment? Was walking on locker room floors.
Yes: You are nicely combining three different forms of aerobic conditioning exercises. Rowing and cycling activities are heart friendly as well as joint friendly; good exercise for the cardiovascular system without beating up your joints. Of the three, the treadmill has more impact on your knees and ankles as you run. Would advise keep in the treadmill flat as opposed to inclined. Easier on the knees. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
No: Running with scissors is dangerous. Running in skechers is not. High heels and platforms are only "dangerous" in pregnancy if you fall or twist your ankle. Most people are not comfortable in them later in pregnancy, but they can't cause any real harm to moms or babies. If you are comfortable in them, go ahead and wear whatever you like. Comfort and fit are the most important features. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Personal preference: Both elliptical machines and stationary bikes are great adjuncts to an ACL reconstruction rehabilitation program. They both protect the recovering knee and new ACL from unsafe forces such as rotating and pivoting while also limiting impact loading. Some patients do not like one or the other pieces of equipment, so it is nice to have various options. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
