Eczema: Could be the reason. Try to avoid very frequent hand washing , harsh soap. Use gloves if cleaning or washing dishes. Use a thick moisturizer like aquaphor or even Vaseline, a small amount of over the counter cortisone daily for no more than two weeks may help.
