I am a breast feeding mother of 14 weeks infant. Nipples crack few times. Wat is the home remedy for it?
I have 2 day old infant (2nd child) and I have extremely sore cracked nipples. I pumped milk and right breast milk had blood clots. Help please.?
Don't worry!: Some bleeding from the nipples is normal and if the baby gets a little of your blood in the milk it is ok. If there is a lot, you could dump it if it makes you feel better. Use a gentle barrier ointment like lanolin on your nipples after nursing. Make sure to vary nursing positions and alternate starting breast. See a lactation consult if things don't improve in a few days. Read more

Elbow cracks loudly when I tense and move it. No pain, but sometimes stiff. Has since I was hit by a car on that arm years ago. Can it cause problems?
Cracking joints: Painless cracking of joints is common. Some people can reproduce cracking joints by doing certain maneuvers, like cracking the knuckles. Painless joint cracking is usually caused by either tendon or air movement around the joint. If there is no pain, I wouldn't worry to much. Stiffness may be from repetitively cracking the elbow, so try to avoid voluntarily doing this and see if stiffness resolves Read more

Hi, I am having huge cracks on heels n feet. They are painful. It has been three years I am having this problem! Is it a infection or something? Help??!
Not an infection: Cracked heels are caused by excessive buildup of dead skin. When the dead skin gets too thick the friction causes tearing of the living layer of the skin, leading to an open wound and pain. These can become infected but are painful even without an infection. There are many types of prescription strength creams that can help. I recommend you see a podiatrist for evaluation and treatment. Read more
I have been cracking my back multiple times aa day for many years. It cracks far more than most others that I know. Could this be causing symptoms of sciatica to now flair up? Skin on leg feels qsensitive to the touch as well and hurts if anything rubs ag
Generally No: Cracking backs has not had any relationship with causing other issues. There could have been a problem you already had going on regarding the sciatica and has just gotten worse lately. I would consider further evaluation if things aren't getting better, maybe MRI of spine to see. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Dental problem. Teeth become fragile and crack, leaving a hole and sometime having inflammatory symptom causing toothache?
Dental treatment: Teeth do not become fragile and crack without some underlying dental problem, most often cavities. It sounds like you are in dire need of seeing a dentist who can tell you what the problem is and what needs to be done. If things are neglected, these broken, rotted teeth will become infected and may result in serious complications. Untreated dental infections have even caused deaths. What to do about chronic sinus infections after root canal/crown. Dentist is dismissive of the problem. 2 years ago I cracked a tooth because of a deep cavity I was unaware of (that parts my responsibility) the tooth was also infected. I had a root canal
I: I would recommend getting an evaluation by a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Their training would enable them to determine if the 2 year history of sinus infections is directly related to your dental health. Obviously I am not in a position to examine you or review xrays of the teeth and sinuses, but 2 years seems a long time to have chronic sinus infections without significant oral findings other than decay. It is normal for the root tips of the upper back teeth to be close to the sinus, in fact, in many cases the roots actually protrude into the sinus. That is why these teeth can sometimes be symptomatic with sinusitis. The oms can give you an opinion as to whether the tooth should be removed or it there are other options for treatment. I'm a 20-year old guy and I have a problem where when I crack my neck I get a burning sensation in my spine and I can't move my legs for a few minutes?
What happens with a cracked baby tooth? While brushing our three year old son's teeth last week, I noticed what looks like a crack on one of his teeth. It doesn't seem to hurt him at all, and I've made an appointment with our dentist. I'm just wondering I
See the Pro: Hopefully it's minor, but teeth do break. Kids fall down and get bumped all the time. Cavities can also cause fractures. It's important that kids start seeing dentist as soon as 1st tooth comes in. If your dentist has seen your child regularly, he will know so much more about your son's individual dental needs. You did the right thing by scheduling an appointment. Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
12 year old daughter knee injured, xray showed "crack" doctor said normal for child. Swollen, sore, can't bear weight. How long wait for 2nd opinion?
Why wait?: If you are not comfortable/confident in what the first doctor has advised you then you should get a second option as soon as you can comfortably get one. There is no reason to wait. If the first doctor was not a pediatric orthopedist then you defiantly need a second option from a pediatric orthopedist. There are several on long island. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
