Can CPPS be treated? If so, how long for it to heal? Will it recurr? i.e will i have it forever? Any event of stress will trigger it again? Any foods?
Discuss w/ Dr: Schedule a session to get as much info as possible from your Dr. Get printed info and ask questions - take notes. Your condition will be different from others so they'll know best about you. It's always good to have as healthy a diet and life style as possible - but Tx will be more. Ask and learn. ...Read more
Urethra pain from CPPS tends to resolve on its own? Or need internal therapy for trigger point release and stretch? 3months+
Immediate urethral discomfort after oral. Took NGU treatment, but only urethral discomfort persists 2+months. Thoughts? Dr said CPPS. Possible? Tips?
Unreal urethra discomfort/itchy for 1month+ after unprotected oral with high risk female(CSW). Diagnosed CPPS, is this possible? Recommendations? Plz!
Possible: But the exact cause of CPPS is unknown, and it does NOT appear to be due to infection. Stress plays a big role in CPPS, and other potential causes/infections need to be ruled out before treatment can begin. I would recommend consulting a urologist if you haven't already. Always use protection - always! You are also increasing your odds of an STD by using a CSW AND enabling human trafficking. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have tan coloured stools sometimes big stools sometimes not I have constant reflux Is there a connection I also have freqent urination at night cpps?
I have just seen my urologist and been diagnosed with cpps I can't take ciprofloxacin and tryed trimethoprim already Is Bactrm ds a good choice ?
Probably won't help: The maie chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is not an infection and antibiotics don't help. An anantibotic often is tried, because it can be difficult to be sure of the diagnosis; if the problem actually is bacterial prostatitis, antibiotics may help, but usually not. If trimethoprim hasn't helped, sulfa plus trimethoprim (Bactrim) probably won't either. Discuss with your doctor. Good luck. ...Read more
