I have seasonal allergies right now. Developed cold sore on nose. Have cpap machine with "nasal pillows " type mask. Is it safe to use Abriva.
Try a different mask: I don't think using Abreva would be a problem but that nasal pillow will severely slow healing. The CPAP company ought you provide you, on your doctor's order, a different mask which won't touch that area. Sore Throat: Does your CPAP deliver humidity/moisture to your airway? If not this could cause throat dryness which could lead to soreness. You should have your dr.
