Talk w/psychiatrist: You can talk with your psychiatrist about the results you're getting. Ask whether different medications, or maybe augmenting those you're already taking, would be useful. For instance, some research shows that augmenting antidepressants with l-methylfolate may help. Also, talk with your therapist if you feel the work you're doing there is not helping. Most will want to know, & do want to help. ...Read more

How efficacious are hydroxyzine pam, gabapentin, low doses of trazadone for treating anxiety, aas per peer-reviewed research? None have worked for me.

SSRI's more helpful: For anxiety, ssri's such as celexa, lexapro, & zoloft and snri's like Effexor (venlafaxine) have more research support behind them than those you've mentioned. You could see a psychiatrist for a thorough evaluation and treatment recommendations -- might be time and money well-spent. Your info says you're also involved in "behavior therapy, " and what's being done there can be reviewed also. ...Read more

I'm taking redotex for lose weith, and Zoloft (sertraline) 50mg for depression, is this safe?

Maybe not: redotex? Is there a generic name? Is this an over the counter weight loss pill? If so, it's effects usually only limited and temporary, and it's not safety tested/regulated by proper authorities, likely. Possible interaction with Zoloft (sertraline) or any medication. Change your lifestyle instead. Eat healthier and move more, and you can then also get off the Zoloft (sertraline), possibly. Good luck. ...Read more
