No: That is diagnosed by a cardiologist doing a catheterization study on you. It is not a study lightly to be done. He would probably first want to do an echocardiographic study to study the internal structure of the papillary muscles in your heart which developed problems in the past when this drug was prescribed for weight loss. A rare side effect: If mild, you may not feel anything at all. If severe and prolonged, you may have trouble with your heart--right-sided heart strain/failure. You may notice neck vein distention. You may notice shortness of breath, especially on exertion etc..If you used Phentermine for longer than 6 month, or have any such symptoms above, consult doc.
