I m a student and all the time I feel very sleepy & it z extreme after a meal.my TFT is normal. please help me out.I sleep 5.5 hrs a night & 2 hrs/day?

Is it normal to get kind of sleepy after big meals? This is happening to me more often, but I'm concerned because my mom has type II diabetes.
Definately normal : After a big meal all the blood goes to your stomach so it's normal to feel a little tired...also depending on what you eat you may tend to feel more or less tired. Mostly after meals have brain fog, can't concentrate at all, very sleepy, lethargic, have muscle fasciculations all over the body, one or two sudden foot/hand single jerks when relaxed. What is it?
See PCP.: Does it matter what you eat? Does a meal high in carbohydrate do this? You may want to see your doctor and have you tested for diabetes .
