Could Really Extreme Sleepiness After A Meal Indicate Diabetes
I m a student and all the time I feel very sleepy & it z extreme after a meal. My TFT is normal. Please help me out. I sleep 5.5 hrs a night & 2 hrs/day?

Definately normal: After a big meal all the blood goes to your stomach so it's normal to feel a little tired...also depending on what you eat you may tend to feel more or less tired. Sleepy: Fatigue post eating can definitely be a signal of blood sugar and Insulin issues. I would have your physician check your blood for fasting blood sugar and Insulin and then 2 hour post prandial (after 80 grams sugar) blood sugar and Insulin levels.
