I'm alpha blockers for prostatitis for month and since then i mostly woke up with full bladder and dull pain on kidney area. Do I have uti?

No uti: Maybe stop the medication and see how you do , having a full bladder is not uncommon in am and the medication or something else could be giving you the pain in kidney area ie back or medicaton. ...Read more

Not sure what you: Mean by ic . I would advise you to follow up with your doc and discuss you concern with him/her . I assume you have basic lab done including urinalysis to exclude urinary tract infection and see if there is sugar in the urine or see specific gravity . Good luck. ...Read more

No: Why do you press on your bladder? If your bladder is full of urine it will be uncomfortable when you do that. Try emptying your bladder then there is no need to press there.I assume you were given the appropriate antibiotic for your prostatitis.Good luck. ...Read more
