Might have: Biliary dyskinesia where the gallbladder functions poorly. Are your symptoms related to eating or is it just a random occurrence? Review your tests with the doctor who ordered them to see if you should have a referral to a gastroenterologist or if a referral to a general surgeon is indicated. Pain: Upper chest and back pain intermittently recurring after eating suggests gastronesophageal reflux. Gastritis or stomach ulcer are considerations. This could be triggered by long term use of NSAID (ibuprofen). Other more serious conditions may present this way.
