Could Im Decapeptyl Effect Amh Levels
I am 35 years old I had a dose of decapeptyl injection for endometreosis in september could this effect a recent amh blood level?
GnRh & AMH: I just answered a similar question and maybe it was yours. Decapeptyl (gnrh) suppresses FSH levels. The small antral follicles produce amh but they are not responsive to fsh. So, the gnrh hormone should not affect your amh levels. This fact is one of the reasons that amh is so attractive to us. We are not as reliant on the timing of the hormone measurement. I hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I'm 21, with amh level of 2.10. Not sure what scale it is in. I'm reading online that above a 1.0 is normal. Do i fall in this normal range?
Yes: An amh of 2.1 ng/ml is normal, indicating normal ovarian reserve. As far as ovarian function goes, you should likely have healthy eggs that would allow you to get pregnant. Good luck. ...Read more
Normal/ good: AMH is good for predicting one thing : will a woman likely respond well to ovarian stimulation medicines. Yours is in a very favorable range. Doctors often use it to "test" for other things, but this is it's only clear use. It does not predict chances of live birth. A progesterone of 22 is ovulatory, that good because that's normal. Best wishes. ...Read more
Im 27 years old. My FSH levels are 4.5 and my LH levels are 5.5 but my AMH levels are 0.5. I have normal follicle growth on CD 10. Is that normal?
Yes and no: The FSH levels are normal but meaningless unless done near d3 of your cycle. The AMH level is low indicating your ovarian reserve is low. This is means your eggs are starting to run low. While you still may have a decent chance for pregnancy, time is not on your side, so it best not to delay treatment. ...Read more
