Could Heavily Sweating During Sleep Be A Symtom Of Some Desease
What could be the cause of a sudden dizzy spell preceded by a euphoric feeling. Not taking any meds and have normal BP, no heart disease etc. ?
I'm having nausea, fatigue and blurred vision. Is it due to lack of sleep? I have a case of low blood pressure as well. Could it be due to that? I also have a history of panic attacks.
Blurred vision: needs to be evaluated by an eye doctor. Low blood pressure MAY account for your other symptoms but see your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Panic attacks are best dealt with through a mental health professional. Peace and good health. "Hope and Help for your Nerves" is a good book about anxiety written by Claire Weekes. ...Read more

I Had a sleep study last night with CPAP and have been experiencing heart palpitations most of the day. Can initial CPAP cause Vagus nerve irritation?
Typically no: That does not usually happen. It can trigger changes in your level of carbon dioxide since with apnea you tend to retain more and CPAP will force you to blow that out. If this is persistent go get an EKG. Heart arrhythmia is common in apnea including heart block, PVCs and atrial fibrillation. Some can be dangerous. ...Read more

Yes: Opioids in particular (but not Naproxen or skelaxin) can cause increased sweating as a side effect. In addition, if a person is taking a significant enough dose for long enough, and then reduces or stops the opiate, sweating becomes even more intense as a sign of withdrawal. If the sweating is mostly at night, there is concern forunderlying infection. He needs to discuss with his doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
