Limited to bowel: Technically speaking, IBS-C (constipation predominant) shd only affect the bowels. IBS isn't a systemic disease like IBD (inflammatory bowel disease - Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis). Concerned not IBS: Your symptoms are not typical of irritable bowel syndrome. Pain, especially 7-8 out of 10 and vomiting are unusual. Also, the racing heart/palpitations may be a sign that you are dehydrated. To be symptomatic at 29 you are probably very dehydrated.
