Is it for sure a MRI will find it if I got tmj?christmas is coming and I need to know if it is and not tumor in parotid gland .lot of jaw clicking
CBCT vs. MRI imaging: allows a TMJ specialist to look inside your TMJ joints without performing surgery. The MRI views of soft tissues, doesn't give the specialist as detailed a picture as necessary of bone structure; and this is exactly what's needed to diagnose TMJ disease and plan the proper treatment. Hope it helps. ...Read more

It's like an internal clicking I hear when I walk inside the top of my head almost like someone is tapping a coin against my skull, what is it?
Tapping noise: skull: Your body is mostly liquid, and as you may know from swimming with your head under water, sounds in water are transmitted loudly. The noise you describe is probably from a joint in your shoulder or hip which may be "heard" while walking. It probably is not serious, but if it continues, see an orthopedic doctor or an internist to determine the cause. ...Read more

Not face tumor: malignant tumors of the face, that is of skin, when spreading, do involve lymph nodes of neck or go to lung but do not cause facial swelling.
