Mgt: Please stay well hydrated, rest and monitor your temperature. You should feel better in a few days, and if there is no fever nor any breathing difficulty, maybe you can return to work. I assume you are on antibiotic treatment now. If your cough is severe and not improving or associated with breathing difficulty, then an ED visit is indicated. They will most likely order a chest radiograph. ...Read more

Possibilities...: This could be due to bronchospasm and inflammation that is unresolved from your recent infection. If so, a bronchodilator inhaler as well as a steroid inhaler would help the situation to resolve. Your doctor can make this diagnosis and prescribe this treatment. Go to doctor: What we can tell you here is not enough for diagnosis and treatment. It seems you really have something going on needing more involved examinations and work up such as an xr and perhaps the need for antibiotics or lung treatments such as bronchodilator or even steroid. ...Read more
