Level II Lymph Node: What you are describing is a level ii lymph node. These are enlarged when you get a sore throat, and can be enlarged when cancer spreads to them as well. Unlikely: To be clear, yes, nosebleeds are a potential sign of cancer, but rare in a child that age and with other more likely cause. Flonase can easily dry out the lining of the nasal passages - this is a common side effect. Allergies can also do this. It is important to keep the nasal passages moist. Many have swabbed Vaseline in the nasal passages with a Q-tip or used nasal saline with great results. ...Read more
