My family has dry cough &sinus stuffed up but I'm wheezing and coughing up green mucus & feel weak & tired what could be wrong can't afford to go dr?
Wheezing/Cough: Feeling weak and tired with coughing up green mucus is concerning for infection, somewhere. Wheezing would suggest the lungs. Could be asthma exacerbation, bronchitis. Could also be a sinus infection since the nose/sinuses are "stuffed up." most often for infections of the sinuses or the lungs or airway, you might need antibiotics. Try a nurse practitioner, they can diagnose &treat for less $. ...Read more

Sounds like you have bronchitis...the green sputum generally indicates infection with Pneumococcus the. Germ that sometimes needs antibiotics HOWEVER since you were hospitalized a CULTURE of your sputum is absolutely necessary since you were exposed to a number of germs NOT necessarily in the "Community"

Allergic cough??: You don't mention any fever or production of a lot of mucus or people nearby you (family, coworkers) being ill. That makes me think you might have a cough brought on by a post-nasal drip irritating the back of your throat and making you have a dry hacking, non-productive cough. If you have thickly feeling just a second or so before cough easily treated without antibiotics. (Benzonatate 200 q8h) ...Read more
