If you have a viral infection, antibiotics won't help (but best to finish whatever you've started). Bottom line, follow up w/doc who prescribed antibiotics. ...Read more

Coughing up bright green and yellow...Kind of hard..Also lots of drainage...Very tired...Pneumonia?
Bile: A viral infection or food poisoning may be the cause. Green stool is usually caused by rapid transit time in the gut, which can happen when an infection makes the gut mucosa more permeable to water or prevents absorption of your intake. Bile refluxing from the duodenum is enough to make vomit green. Hope you're feeling better -- if this is clearly not a mild self-limited illness, get seen. ...Read more

Another Look Needed: Though there are many things that this could be, I would be most concerned about either bronchitis or potentially pneumonia. Cough + cold symptom: It would be difficult to determine what is causing this without being seen.
