I have glaucoma and I've recently been experiencing seeing little white spots after a hard cough. They last about 5 seconds, is glaucoma the reason?

Likely not: Glaucoma usually causes painless vision loss over a long period of time & the visual field ceases to exist (like trying to see your hand from the back of your head).

You're describing 'flashes' due to irritation or excitement of your retina (the film in the camera of your eyes).

Although very common, some people have a risk of retinal detachment. See an ophthalmologist to have a dilated exam. ...Read more

My 2month baby having cold and cough infection from 7 days and now she is passing little clot of blood with mucus and can see red spot all over fore head is this worried full but here no one giving her medicine could you give me guidance.?

Need more info: What you describe sounds like she is coughing so hard that she has what is called "peticheae" (tiny bleeds into skin) on her forehead. It needs to be evaluated by your doctor right away. Pertussis infection comes to mind, which would be concerning at her age. Seek medical attention and/or go to er. If she is breathing heavy, is not feeding well or "looks sick" you should go to er tonight. ...Read more

Cough?: There are many reasons for a cough, many of which are non-infectious and do not require antibiotics. Some are even caused by medicines. You have to at a minimum have a virtual consult, but preferably see a live doc who will get a full history, a thorough physical exam, maybe some lab tests and come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan for you. Hi, I have been coughing up phlegm for a few months now. It is clear with little brown spots.

Phlegm from cough: Mostly clear phlegm is fairly normal. You probably have allergies. I would try a nasal steroid like Flonase and use it twice a day. It takes about 3 to 5 days to work. Be patient. You can try a decongestant like sudafed to dry you up until the Flonase kicks in. Good luck! Feel better! ...Read more

The sore throat and cough began just recently but the red spots along the back of my throat have been there for a very long time. Was told it’s not strep. What could the bumps be and will they go away?

Viral?: The bumps at the throat can be caused by post-nasal drips or reflux irritation. At your age, allergic rhinitis and/or sinusitis may be the cause. The sore throat and cough occurring now are likely the beginning of flu symptoms. There is an antiviral agent which can shorten the course of the disease but must be taken within the 1st 48 hrs to be effective. ...Read more

I always have cough 8years ago so doctor told me to take x-ray. Seen spots in my lungs & I was treated. Is there a possibility for it to reoccur again?

Of course: Do not know what caused the cough or what the meaning of the 2 spots are.
